Cecilia Lanier
Cecilia Lanier is a coach educator and lead author of Motivational Interviewing in Life and Health Coaching (Guilford Press, 2024). For over three decades, she has worked in education and professional development, first as a classroom teacher, then as an instructional coach for teachers, and now as a trainer, mentor, and course developer for coaches at every stage of their career. She holds the NBC-HWC credential, is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), and is a candidate for ICF-PCC credentialing, pending November 2026.

Hart is the owner of the Evoking Change Institute, an educator, learning experience designer, and, as of October, 2026, a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). For nearly two decades, he's worked in adult education as the Director of Operations and Head of Admissions, and has managed award-winning sales teams, designed learning experiences, and helped grow organizations to unprecedented success.
