My Story

I know what it's like to be stuck in life, interrupted by challenging circumstances like stressful jobs, a devastating house fire, and 30 years of debilitating chronic diseases that forced early retirement. I know the grip of a victim mindset and the annoyance and indignation from life's sufferings. I tilled up old, hard garden soil, planted a brand new life, and recovered my health. But this time, I nourished the whole me, tending to the roots beneath the surface to feed my body, mind, and emotional and spiritual health.

I see you. You want to change for the better, experience life more fully, love deeply, understand more, and show up expansively for yourself and your loved ones. You may know what to do but feel bound by the status quo, and it's time to stop surviving and start THRIVING.

I walk with you, shine a light on the next stone in the path and help you awaken what you want, what you already have, and what you need to move forward. I help you navigate the competing advice from others and even your internal narrative that may need to be more helpful. I support your change from the inside out, your transformation.

My Approach

What I Believe

I start with a set of beliefs about each client. You are creative. You are competent. You are resourceful. You are capable. You are WHOLE. This means you have the answers, or you can find the answers, and your creativity will support you. You don't need 'fixing.'

What I Do

I start with what is RIGHT about you, your strengths, and your capabilities. I ask questions to help you see what you might not see, evoke your reasons for change, and co-create action plans to move you forward. I help you develop self-management, accountability, and support to reach your goals.

What You Do

You want to improve, and you show up ready and responsible to make the changes you seek. You'll be open and honest to share in a safe and confidential space. You'll use your curiosity and experiment with new things. You'll be open to exploring homework if needed between sessions.
